　　A lorry driver makes inquiry of a mountaineer, "Excuse me, where can I buy the autoaccessories(附件) in the neighborhood?"

　　Mountaineer says, "Some people usually drive heroic car on the road. There is a abruptturn(急转弯) ahead not far from here, and a clough(深谷) just below it, where you can find all kinds of the auto accessories. You will spend no money at all."

　　一个卡车司机向一山民打听：“请问，这附近哪儿能买到汽车配件?”

　　山民说：“这条路上经常有人开英雄车，前面不远处是个急转弯，急转弯的下面就是深谷，那深谷里什么样的汽车配件都有——根本用不着花钱。”

　　As the taxi came to a screeching(尖叫) halt at a traffic light, I asked the driver, "Do you agree that 'Time is money'?"

　　"Well, it's a very common saying. Who will care so much about that?" the driver answered.

　　"Look, the digits in the meter(仪表) are still running when the car has stopped, "Ipointed at the meter.

　　"Oh, yes. You've got a point here. In this case, time is money for both of us." added the driver.

　　A young man fell into a state of coma, but recovered before his friends had buried him. One of them asked what it felt like to be dead.

　　"Dead!" he exclaimed. "I wasn't dead. And I knew I wasn't, because my feet were cold and I was hungry."

　　"But how did that make you sure?"

　　"Well, I knew that if I were in heaven I shouldn't be hungry, and if I was in the other place my feet wouldn't be cold."

　　一个年轻人昏死了过去，但是当他的朋友们要掩埋他的时候却又苏醒过来。他的一个朋友问他死的感觉是怎样的。

　　“死!”他喊道“我并没有死，我知道我没死，因为我的脚是凉的，而我又很饿。”

　　“你怎么能肯定你没死?”

　　“当然哪，我知道如果我上了天堂，我就不会觉得饿;如果我下到地狱，那我的脚就不会是凉的了。”
